Einige Teilnehmer*innen dieses Workshops erklären sich zur Teilnahme an der darauffolgenden Performance (Rituals for the Anthropocene, 16 - 17 Uhr) vor Publikum bereit.
Im Projekt „Rituals for the Anthropocene – the human-dominatedplanet“ setzt sich hugo or huga x tibiriçá (-/they) (in Kollaboration mit Jakob Klaffs) mit der menschlichen Vorherrschaft über den Planeten und unserem Status als dominante Spezies auseinander. Dabei hinterfragt das Projekt unsere Geschichte und unser Vermächtnis der Beherrschung, stellt den Mythos der Menschheit in Frage und die Bedeutung des Menschseins auf den Prüfstand.
Der Workshop ist eine Vorbereitung zur aktiven Teilnahme an der Performance im Anschluss.
Das Publikum ist eingeladen, Teilnehmer*innen und Zeug*innen eines (Video-)Rituals innerhalb eines (weiteren) Rituals zu werden; die Fähigkeit zu entwickeln, unsere Verstrickung und Mitschuld an historischer, kolonialer, systemischer & andauernder Gewalt und Schaden, den wir einander, anderen, anderen Wesen und dem Planeten zufügen, anzuerkennen; sowie sich zu lebensbejahenderen Wegen zu verpflichten, die Erde als Spezies weiter zu bewohnen - in Zeiten beispielloser planetarischer Veränderungen.

Some participants of this workshop will be invited to committ themselves in taking part in the following ritual-performance (Rituals for the Anthropocene, 4 - 5 pm) in front of an audience.
In the project "Rituals for the Anthropocene - the human-dominated planet", hugo or huga x tibiriçá (-/they) (in collaboration with Jakob Klaffs) deals with human dominance over the planet and our status as the dominant species. The project questions our history and our legacy of domination, questions the myth of humanity and the meaning of being human.
The workshop is a preparation for the active participation in the performance afterwards.
The audience is invited to become participants and witnesses of a (video-)ritual within a(nother) ritual; to grow capacity for acknowledging our entanglement and complicit of historical, colonial, systemic & on-going violence and harm done to each other, others, other beings and the planet; as well as commit to more life-affirming ways of going forward inhabiting the earth as a species - in such times of unprecedented planetary change.
