Wandia Nduku (dey/dem) ist ein*e in Hamburg lebende queere nicht-binäre spoken word Künstler*in und Performer*in. Wandias Kunst wurde auf Bühnen im Vereinigten Königreich, Deutschland und Finnland gezeigt. Wandia ist Ko-Creator*in der Bühnenshow „Joy Nduku“ und dem musikalischen Projekt 'Nduku', welches rhythmische Elemente mit der Poesie verbindet. Wandias Werke streben danach Stärke in der Äußerung von Verletzlichkeit zu finden. Wut, Schmerz und Frustration treffen auf Liebe, Hoffnung und Freude in Wandias Poesie.
Subira Joy(they/them) ist ein*e Schwarze*r, genderqueere*r Performer*in und Aktvist*in und lebt in Sussex, UK. Their Kunst verbindet das Persönliche und Politische durch Erfahrungen und Fantasie, ausgedrückt durch Wut, Zärtlichkeit und Gelächter.Mit einem eklektischen Vortragstil, der sich durch Spoken-Word, Performance-Kunst, Tanz, Dramaturgie, Drag und Cabaret bewegt, interessiert sich Subira für Kunst als Werkzeug für Aktivismus und soziale Veränderung.Subiras Show 'Kill The Cop Inside Your Head' war ein 2023 Eclipse Preis Gewinner und war auf der Longlist des BBC Writers Popcorn Preis. They ist derzeit 2024 Stuart Hall Stipendiat*in 2024 an der Sussex Universität.

Subira Joy and Wandia Nduku come together for a lively celebration of spoken word. Join these identical queer brown twins for a journey of poetics, politics and passion.
Wandia Nduku (they/them) is a Black queer non-binary spoken word artist and performer based in Hamburg, whose work has been featured on stages in the UK, Germany and Finland. Wandia is co-creator of the stage show 'Joy Nduku', and the musical spoken word project 'Nduku' which incorporates rhythmic elements into poetry. Their work strives to find power in voicing vulnerability. Anger, pain and frustration meet love, hope and pleasure in their poetry.
Subira Joy (they/them) is a Black genderqueer performer and activist based in Sussex, UK. Their work weaves together the personal and political, through experiences and imaginations, spoken with rage, softness and laughter.With an eclectic performance style that moves through spoken word, performance art, dance, playwriting, drag and cabaret, Subira is interested in art as a tool for activism and social change.Subira's show 'Kill The Cop Inside Your Head' was a 2023 Eclipse Award winner and was longlisted for the BBC Writers Popcorn award. They are currently the 2024 Stuart Hall Fellow at University of Sussex.
