Note on barriers and awareness:

(In alphabetical order)

Awareness Team: For us, part of a great event is that everyone feels comfortable and that we create a space that is as discrimination-free as possible. More info on Awareness here.

BIPoC retreat room: There will be a map on site.

Corona measures: At Bonanzafest there will be no compulsory testing or masking due to the legal situation. However, we would like to point out that the pandemic is by no means over and it makes a difference to voluntarily test yourself beforehand and think about wearing a mask in a heavily crowded room -this allows others to participate in a more relaxed way. At the entrance we will provide some self-tests free of charge. Basically, everyone decides how to deal with the current Corona situation during the visit at their own discretion. However, please act responsibly and stay at home if you have cold symptoms. EXCEPTION: Workshop participation requires a privately done test!

English/German Translation: If you need support with translations into/from English, we have a person who can support you during workshops etc.. Just ask at the info point.  We also have some headphones for the performances with which we can make translations possible.

German Sign Language:  If you need interpretation in DGS, please contact us.

Languages: You can tell which languages people on the team speak by the name tags around their necks.

Photos and Videos: In the event that you do not want to appear in our photos or videos, we will hand out stickers that you can visibly attach to the front of your clothing. We will then take care not to show you from the front. The stickers are available from the awareness team.

Physical barriers/stairs: There are stairs throughout the building. The main entrances are accessible with ramps.

Quiet Room/BIPoC Room: Quiet Room/BIPoC Room: If you ever find yourself in over your head, the Awareness Team will show you a retreat space with water, tissues, and comfortable seating. There is also a BIPoC retreat room.

Sensory triggers: During the performances in the concert hall and at the party on Saturday evening, loud music, flashing lights, flashing video images and a fog machine will be used in some cases.

Subtitles: Unfortunately there are no subtitles available for the film programme. All films will be in English or without text.

Toilets: The building has toilets in the basement which are not wheelchair accessible. In addition, there is a wheelchair accessible dixi-toilet in the courtyard.

Where do I need to go? There will be an Info Point in the foyer to help you find your way around the premises or to the programme, and posters that will be hung visibly in the various areas of the festival.
