In „Les expériences de nymphx et faunx – Die Erfahrungen von Nymphx und Faunx“ erkunden Welk, Jacobi und Zureck queere Lust und Erotik im Spannungsfeld zwischen Tanz und Aktivismus.
Inspirationsquelle war das Gedicht „L’aprés midi d’un faune“ von Stéphane Mallarmé (1865-1867) und das gleichnamige Ballett des bisexuellen und psychisch erkrankten Tänzers Vaslav Nijinsky (1913).Das Werk brach mit der Tradition von Bewegungsästhetik - besonders an der Masturbationszene nahmen ein Teil der Presse und des Publikums heftigen Anstoß.

Mono Welk arbeitet als Choreograph*in, Performer*in und Kurator*in. Er legt seinen Fokus auf Kunst, die an der Schnittstelle zum Aktivismus Körpernormen hinterfragt und sich somit in einer queeren Praxis verortet. Eingefahrene Ästhetiken und Machtstrukturen, möchte er aufbrechen als Solo-Künstler:in oder mit dem intersektionalen Performance-Kollektiv POLYMORA Inc. 2018 gründete Mono mit Steph Krah das Festival FAMILIA*FUTURA zu Familien-Vielfalt und Care-Utopien. Seit 2023 macht Mono eine Ausbildung in sexological bodywork (ISB Berlin) und möchte mit dieser Arbeit politsche Forschungs- und Empowermentträume erweitern. Mono positioniert sich als weiß, nicht-binär / trans maskulin, bildungspriviligiert jedoch prekär lohnarbeitend und seine Großeltern waren Bauern aus Lettland und der heutigen Ukraine.
Noah Jacobi findet sich in seinem Alltag oft als Betreuer*in von Tanz- und Theaterprojekten wieder, als Dramaturg*in, als Beobachter*in, Tänzer*in und Bewegungsmensch. Noahs Interesse liegt zurzeit darin, gesellschaftlich konstruierte Körpernormen zu hinterfragen und mithilfe von Tanz- und Performancekunst damit verwobene Bewegungsmuster aufzudecken/ aufzubrechen. Dabei wünsche Noah sich, die normativen Ansätze verschiedener Bewegungslehren stets aufs Neue zu prüfen und mit Fragezeichen zu versehen. Noah ist eine positive, freud- und genussvolle Atmosphäre beim gemeinsamen Arbeiten und Zeit verbringen wichtig. Noah positioniert sich als weiß, bildungsprivilegiert und identifiziert sich als trans maskulin, nicht binär, schwul und darin fluide.
Jul Zureck kommt aus der Bildenden Kunst und arbeitet meistens installativ mit visuellen Medien. Damit forscht Jul multiperspektivisch zu verschiedenen Themen, wie queerfeministischer Spekulation, Auseinandersetzung mit Kolonialismus / dekolonialer Wissensproduktion und dem Anthropozän sowie mehr-als-menschlichen Verwandschaften. Ein Teil von Juls Arbeit besteht aus partizipativen Projekten und Workshops, unter anderem mit Kindern und Jugendlichen. Außerdem beschäftigt Jul sich viel mit somatischer Praxis, zum Beispiel im Moment mit einer Ausbildung zum Sexological Bodyworker. Jul ist weiß positioniert, wird nicht behindert und hat einen akademischen Hintergrund. Jul identifiziert sich als queerer, nicht-binärer soft boi und pendelt momentan zwischen Leipzig und den französischen Pyrenäen.
ART3M1S ist eine autodidaktische Musikerin und Performerin aus Leipzig. Seit 20 Jahren spielt die 26-jährige Künstlerin Schlagzeug, welches ihre musikalische Grundlage bildet. 2018 begann sie sich als Sängerin, Rapperin und Musikproduzentin weiterzubilden und spielt seit 2019 in regelmäßigen Abständen Konzerte. Seit 2021 arbeitete sie mit POLYMORA Inc. als Musikerin, Produzentin als auch als Performerin. Ende 2022 war sie als Produktionsassistenz, Musikalische Leitung, Co- Editorin sowie Schauspielerin für das Free Film Lab tätig, einem achtwöchigen Intensivprogramm für Amateur-Filmemacher*innen aus dem Leipziger Osten.

In "Les expériences de nymphx et faunx - The Experiences of Nymphx and Faunx" Welk, Jacobi and Zureck explore queer desire and eroticism in the field of tension between dance and activism. The source of inspiration was the poem "L'aprés midi d'un faune" by Stéphane Mallarmé (1865-1867) and the ballet of the same name and the ballet of the same name by the bisexual and mentally ill dancer Vaslav Nijinsky (1913).
The work broke with the tradition of movement aesthetics - especially in the masturbation scene some of the press and public was particularly offended by the masturbation scene.

Mono Welk works as a choreographer, performer and curator. He focuses on art that art that questions body norms at the interface of activism and thus locates itself in a queer practice. He wants to break up entrenched aesthetics and power structures as a solo artist:in or with the intersectional performance collective POLYMORA Inc. in 2018. Mono founded the festival FAMILIA*FUTURA with Steph Krah on family diversity and care utopias.Since 2023, Mono has been training in sexological bodywork (ISB Berlin) and wants to use this work to expand political research and empowerment spaces. Mono positions himself as white, non-binary / trans masculine, educationally privileged but precariously wage-earning and his grandparents were farmers from Latvia and today's Ukraine.
Noah Jacobi often finds himself in his everyday life as a supervisor of dance and theatre projects, as a dramaturge, observer, dancer and person in movement. Noah is currently interested in questioning socially constructed body norms and using dance and performance art to uncover/break open movement patterns that are interwoven with them. In doing so, Noah wishes to constantly re-examine the normative approaches of various movement teachings and to provide them with question marks. A positive, joyful and enjoyable atmosphere when working and spending time together is important to Noah. Noah positions himself as white, educationally privileged and identifies as trans masculine, non-binary, gay and fluid in that.
Jul Zureck comes from the visual arts and works mostly installatively with visual media. With this, Jul researches multiperspectivally on various topics, such as queerfeminist speculation, engagement with colonialism / decolonial knowledge production and the Anthropocene, as well as more-than-human kinship. Part of Jul's work consists of participatory projects and workshops, including with children and young people. Jul also engages a lot with somatic practice, for example at the moment training to become a Sexological Bodyworker. Jul is positioned as white, able-bodied and has an academic background. Jul identifies as a queer, non-binary soft boi and currently commutes between Leipzig and the French Pyrenees.
ART3M1S is a self-taught musician and performer from Leipzig. The 26-year-old artist has been playing drums for 20 years, which forms her musical foundation. In 2018, she began to train as a singer, rapper and music producer and has been playing concerts at regular intervals since 2019. In 2021, she started working with POLYMORA Inc. as a musician, producer as well as a performer. At the end of 2022, she worked as production assistant, musical director, co-editor and actress for the Free Film Lab, an eight-week intensive programme for amateur filmmakers from East Leipzig.
